I can do custom laser cutting by special request. Just remember, this is not my full time job. I do this because I enjoy it. I am learning more and more every day, but that does not mean I'm willing or able to take on a huge project. Be advised, while the machine and software are more than capable of engraving photos and things of that nature, I have very little experience doing it. It takes a lot of time, that I usually don't have, to get things just right
If you have cut files already done for something, I may be able to cut them for you. If you have an idea in your head, let me know, I'll see if I can help turn it into reality. Email me your idea, a napkin drawing, or your files and I will let you know if I can help.
If you would like me to design something for you, I might be able to do that, I might not. Again, understand that cutting my airplane kits is what I'm all about. But, when the laser isn't humming along cutting airplanes, I tend to play around and make little things for others.
Look through the pictures and it will give you an idea of what I have done. If you want something I already have, email me and we will figure out sizes, material etc.
My laser is 130 watts and has a work table that is 48"x36" so "large" items are not a problem. It can easily cut through various materials. Obviously foam board, balsa wood and lite ply are no problem. MDF is very easy to handle. "plexiglass" type material is not hard either. The machine is capable of cutting some pretty thick material. 1" thick is about the max. No, it will not cut metal. It will engrave on painted or powder coated metal.
